Love, Love, Love everything about this place!! Best pies in the world. Small quaint family owned old time grocery store turned into pie shop/cafe. We make the trip up from NC every fall & enjoy talking to Angie, her mama & sisters. They always makes us feel so welcomed!
Like a step back in time! Quaint little place, started as a grocery store 60 years ago. Famous for her pies. She was featured in Southern Living magazine. Very small, simple sandwich only menu in addition to her pies. Family owned and operated. The original owner wrote a book. She is on sight to sign your book purchase
The pies and shakes were delicious not over powerful sugar you could still enjoy the natural flavor. Recommend you visit at least once.
Wonderful little shop the ladies that own it were so nice. We met the patriarch who is 101 years old and she told us a little about her family.
This place has so much character and charm that it will be the highlight of your day! The staff are all extremely friendly and their homemade pies are simply out if this world! Ms. Woodruff is such a charming lady to talk to about the store's past and her history lesson is entertainment of the best kind! Do yourself a favor and visit this MUST SEE place!
Just celebrated my dad's 90th birthday with Mama Mary and her daughter's. My dad said, it was an experience he will never forget. The lunch, slices of pie, birthday song and hospitality were all beyond compare. This cafe deserves much more than 5 stars for this experience, which was priceless.
